I like it too.

Mines at 24,100 rounds without a malfunction. I think it's paid for itself at this point.

Silver Lettering

Babalouie how does yours have the silver lettering for the Beretta and Px4? I bought just as they came out and love it, but what's the story on that lettering?

+1 to Southpaw. I've put over a thousand rounds through mine, but I'm no where near that on any of my guns!

Well, here's the story on the lettering.
My son (17) and I shoot uspsa and I bought the Px4 for production class. We really like shooting, guns etc and where talking about how to cosmetically enhance the look of our guns. He shoots an M&P. We had seen this lettering before and he asked how its done. Its so low tech its silly...Crayons! We used a white crayon and just forced it into where we wanted the lettering to stand out. Rub off the excess with a rag and presto. He used black against a hard chromed slide on the M&P and it looks just as good.

I'm sure I will like it, I haven't shot it yet. I've never had a gun I didn't like at some level. The ergonomics are awesome. It points as natrually for me as any of my 1911s. Its my first DA/SA so there'll be a learning curve but nothing I'm worried about. I'll post what I think after shooting it.

Congrats on the new gun. I had one and it was a fine shooter, but something came along that I wanted even more (BHP) and so something had to go and it ended up being the PX4. All the same I would never hesitate to recommend the PX4 to anyone. The night sights were impressive, a quick blast of light from a flashlight and they lit up like a Christmas tree!

Now you need to go see the new Die Hard movie and bring your new friend with you! If you legally can that is;)

What cal did you get? I used a PX4 9mm for my CHL shooting test. Scored 240 out of 250. I always wondered how the .40 would feel...

I got it in 40S&W. I plan on shooting it in uspsa Production class and all of my competition guns are 40. I can load 40, minor power factor for production class, that shoots lighter than commercial 9mm. My son shoots an M&P so we'll see how the Px4 compares competitively wise.

I've got to do a trigger job on the Px4 first...the M&P has an amazingly sweet trigger on it. I'm hoping the SA on the Px4 will be able to do more than keep up. We'll see.

I still have less that a 1,000 rounds (maybe 800 or so) through my PX4 9mm. The gun is very accurate and a pleasure to shoot (recoil is very low for a 9mm). I find the trigger very nice straight out of the box, but it could stand some improvement I suppose. I think Beretta has made a very good pistol line-up with the PX4, as did S&W with the M&P line-up. The pistol I'm defiantly waiting on to purchase next, is the PX4 sub-compact 9mm that hopefully will come out in the next few months. That will be one sweet conceal carry gun. I wonder if Bud's Gun Shop website is taking pre-orders yet?

Very nice. I like Beretta quality but wish that the PX4 came in an alloy frame.

Shot the Px4 today...flawless and a very nice gun to shoot. And, the white crayon didn't melt! Looks just a good as in the pics. I'm very pleased with the fit and finish. As soon as my 1911 wolff hammer spring comes in I do a trigger job and she'll be even better.

Picked up my PX 4 in a 9MM from Gander on Saturday-traded in my P95. Took it to the range Sunday and got 100 rounds in the black at 10 and 15 yards. What more can you say!!
