Having grown up when Elmer Kieth and Skeeter Skelton were my heros, I sometimes forget that many of these guys around me today have never shot anything but a striker nine or an AR, so at the end of the day out comes a saa 45 colt or maybe a lever in 44-40. With the first time Cowboys I'm almost always guaranteed one of those silly grins.

That's what we use to do when we went shooting on some property a friend of mine used to have out in the sticks. We'd burn through all of the .22, .223, 7.62x39, 9mm., and .45 ACP ammo that we had and then when we finished with that, we would break out the "fun guns": the Vaqueros, the Blackhawks, and the Super Blackhawk!
