A new low… bad LGS story.

I've had both good and bad lgs experiences, the good was I didn't know the difference between a sbr and an ar pistol. The guy behind the counter took the time to explain and show me the difference. He then asked what I wanted it for ( range toy/HD) he then explained how each would fit my needs. At the time I knew nothing about the ar, he spoke to me in a tone and terms that were easy to understand. The worst I walked into the store and the manager said if you don't have money to spend right now just leave, I did.

If I was asked to leave I would have complied and never come back again! Nobody deserves to be treated like that. Some stores will look at you as a bad risk if you don't look "normal" to them sadly. This drives a wedge between many gun owners unfortunately.

These scenarios represent not only bad manners and unprofessionalism, but perhaps worst of all what are NEW or PROSPECTIVE gun owners going to think? Hmmm...maybe the news is right, those gun culture people sure seem like they are all a bunch of mean, dangerous weirdos.

First impressions are lasting impressions.

I've found with the one LGS I have do my transfers is that it is best to avoid the place on the weekends because they have the "B" team working. During the week tho when the owners are working and it's not packed, it runs pretty smooth.

I wouldn't give up on the LGS just yet, try them on a different day/time. If you have problems the next time avoid them.

It not relate to LGS, but I used to work as a car salesman. First thing that dealership owner told me -You are not selling cars-you selling yourself. In two month I made from floor sale to Internet manager. That was long time ago...
