A new winner in the "stupidest thing you've ever done" game

The party game asked people to name the stupidest thing they had ever done. Police say Jerry Rose answered, "Shot a guy in the head."

That might have been the stupidest thing he'd done up to that point, but I think confessing to murder during a party might just be even more stupid.

Murdering someone is a stupid act. We don't know why he did it. But, we can infer that, as an officer of the law knowing the law, and likely aware of the investigation into a man's death, that his silence on the issue doesn't put him in a positive light.


He did what most people who commit a crime do, he bragged about it.

Don't have a name to go with the act, but at the gun show last weekend, a pistol was found in one of the men's rooms. When the announcement was made, the room went quiet, and people started reaching for where they normally carry. At least it wasn't an accidental discharge.
