mykeal, that's exactly what I asked for, when Craig asked me what kind of stamping I wanted. I'm more of a "disappear into the background" guy than a "stand out" guy.
At least, that's what I try to be.
He knocked it out of the park. It looks even better than I'd imagined.
Once I get a good belt made, I may get him to make a holster that is a total barbecue gun holster.
I'll get him to make a matching holster for strong side carry with one of my other hog legs.
I've often thought of making my own holsters, but I never can find the time.
Plus, a man's got to know his limitations.
Sometimes, it's best to leave things up to those who have the talent.
My talents are in the field of repairing things. Never have been very creative or artistic, or good a making things.
So much for right brain=artistic theories.
I'm thinking a barbecue holster would be appropriate for my Single Six/Vaquerito .32 H&R. It's all shiny with factory fake ivory grips.
Hmm, what would be a good candidate for a strong side companion to this little crossdraw 62 Police holster?
Maybe a 51 Navy? A Colt .36 with a Colt .36 backup. I could see that.
Judging by the examples I've seen, I'm going to have to say that Craig is a very talented leatherworker.
I'm going to have to CC the Pocket Police in this holster.
It could be my backup to the GP100
