Where do you guys get your brass from? Im looking at a 25-20, 23D on gun broker a local shop has, but cant seem to find any brass.

Right now it seems to be between runs and none is available unless you find someone who already has it. One of the "custom" makeres lists they are waiting for enough back orders to make some. That was either Starline or Quality Cartridge. Rem and Win make a run every couple years. I'll wait for it to pop up on someplace like Midway or Grafs. I've got my eye open for some of the hard to find brass so I can lay in a supply. I just picked up 100 each .348 and .444 brass as back up to the 100 or so cases I have loaded for each of them.. 25-20 and some more Hornet brass is on the list. Never did get some 8x56R when Grafs had it even though I have the dies and a mold. Thats on the list too.

There's a GB seller who has some if you don't mind paying an outrageous price (almost $1/case shipped) and dealing with a complete jerk.

I'd rather buy loaded ammo. Ends up around the same price after you figure another $0.30-$0.35/rd in bullet, primer & powder.

Just keep your eyes open. The big companies make runs and the price usually isn't bad. You can use 32-20 for 25-20 and 218 Bee. But it's nice to have the correct head stamp. Other one of a kind brass like my .348 and .444 you need the proper brass. At 58 I plan on keeping all my guns and passing them to my son and daughter. So I want the components to make them shootable for years too come. My son just jumped into reloading on his own since doing it with me since about 5-6 years old. He'll get all my casting and reloading "Stuff". My daughter has a 1/2 dozen or so rifles she wants. She'll get more than that. OK with me.

Thanks guys, ill keep looking around. I might just buy the gun and sit on it.

For now tho ill keep drooling over your guns lol.
