No need for rancor here -- we're all friends.
Now personally, I agree with Jeff Cooper, "There is such a thing as enough ammunition, and there is such a thing as not enough ammunition. But there is no such thing as too much ammunition."
BUT -- I used to pave the floor of my command track in Viet Nam with ammo AND pull a quarter ton trailer behind, loaded with ammo. I can hardly do that nowadays. So the question is, "How much ammunition is enough ammunition?"
My own answer is three 8-round magazines, with one up the spout.

Carry what you like. Carry what you WILL carry. Carry what you CAN carry. Carry what makes you feel good.
If you want to get scientific about it ... well, nobody's going to be happy with the answer the statisticians would come up with.
A video is an anecdote. Not a scientific study of the subject. And whatever this one shows -- which we don't even agree on, apparently -- it isn't either the first or last word on the subject.
If we AREN'T going to be scientific about it, then there's absolutely no validity in trying to convince anyone that what they carry is either insufficient or is excessive.
And argument for the sake of argument is idiotic. So let's be done with this, and depart, confident in whatever choice works for each of us.
