My son's TD is on par with current production 10/22s in terms of accuracy. BUT...when shooting you must take care with the rifle's positioning.
I purchased a different barrel band to accommodate a sling and bipod then realized resting on the bipod made accuracy impossible. Not only did POI shift but group size opened noticably. I pulled out the front rest and rear bag, positioning the front under the receiver half and groups held under 1/2" at 25 with MiniMags. Definitely liked being tightened a bit as well but still can't out shoot the SA-22.
