I've got the aforementioned gun with fixed sights, but it shoots a little to the right, and I'm all but certain it isn't operator error. What's the best way to move the sights, without investing in adjustable sights?
Some kinds of sight pusher would be the best. I have comp sites on my 75b and moving them can be a little tricky if you put some tape on the side your moving away from you can see how far you have moved.
I just use a hammer and black tape and try not to mess anything up.
My P01 has a tiny set screw. Check to see if your SP has it. I simply used a brass punch and hammer to knock it over a bit. Doesn't take much, just a 1/2mm or so.
It shoots about half an inch to the right at 10m, any idea how far I should move it? It sounds like the brass punch and hammer method is a rather trial and error approach
Here's a calculator from Brownells that will give you a ROUGH adjustment. Take a punch and hammer to the range with you, in case it doesn't work out right.
Move the rear sight in the direction you want the point of impact moved. (You'll move the rear sight left...)
