Bill, that is a bit extreme.
There are plenty of great cop's out there that do thing's properly and don't play supercop. You then get certian cop's who want to play supercop. That they think that badge give's them a right to do anything they want cause by god they are the law and you are not, so sit down shut up or your going for a ride in the back seat. Cop's like that, have no right being a cop IMO. Good intentioned? Maybe. Buster of chops? Unquestionably true. *****'s? Often. Profesional? Almost never. Deserve my respect or that badge? Rarly.
Lot's and lot's of great cop's. But also lot's of ***** power triping supercop's.
Far from a police state. But when a cop overstep's himself the odd's are certianly in their favor. And a lot of cop's overstep themselve's to varying degree's and feel they have every right to because they have a shiney little badge.
