Hello there.
I'm an avid tournament paintballer, and i also dabble in recreational airsoft with a few friends in the backyard. Like a few people implied, its the PERSON using no common sense that makes anything dangerous, not the actual item. Respect for any gun (paintball, firearm, airsoft, etc) is primary for having a fun, safe day. I know at many of the paintball fields i frequent, penalties for discharging it in "safe" areas include being asked to leave for the day, without refund. The statistics for paintball indicate that the history of paintball (since about 1980) has less injuries than bowling last year alone. Safe range(or field) owners who educate the consumer about gun safety make the difference!
