Hey guys new member.

I have a DRACO 7.62x39 pistol that has had some FTF double feed issues. I believe that I've tracked this down to the ejector not clasping the fed round and thus not going into battery. I soaked, cleaned, and oiled the bolt and so far seems to be letting the bolt carrier close completely every time now. Has anyone else had this issue within the AK platform? I haven't been able to get to the range to run it through it's paces after this diagnosis.

Note: I know that the DRACO is impractical and a range toy. I have it because it's cool and makes me smile when firing. That's why we're firearms owners. Please refrain from commentary on my purchasing habits. Everyone loves to hate a DRACO.

Thanks.

If you like it, that's good enough. I only wish we could buy such things here behind the Hollywierd curtain.

If you still have issues in the future I would just replace the extractor. Sounds like it may be out of spec.

Draco Pistols are awesome!

Hopefully your issue gets sorted out. Take it to the range and see if that has solved your problem.

I just recently bought a used Draco Pistol in January. Luckily mine works flawlessly and it is a blast to shoot. Spectators are always amazed when they see the fireballs coming out of the muzzle!

Yeah, I had little desire for a Draco until I snagged one to try - a real hoot to shoot.
And a keeper, as I have heard Cent will no longer bother with these. And unless we can get these gun laws beat down, we may not see the Yugo versions anymore as these "AK pistols" take wicked looks to a new level...

Anyway, only issue I have found is that the safety lever is a tad "jumpy" - you could easily have it move upwards into the Safe position without even noticing it.

Pay exra close attention to the lever the next time you run a mag thru it.

Have fun!
