AK forearm help please...

Hey guys I'm building a few Bulgarian AK-74's I've decided to leave one as is and bubba the other one. I am looking for a quad rail for under $50, they are out there but none of them say that they will fit AK-74's just universal AK-47's. I was looking at an AIM AK quad rail...Anyone put a 47 quad rail on a 74?

I have not had issues using a '47 "clamp-on" style rail with a '74, but some do come with spacers, which is nice. The spacers allow for a firmer grip on a slimmer barrel profile (as found on the 5.56 and 5.45 versions). There are certain versions of the rail in which one half clamps to the barrel, and the other half clamps to the first half. Either way, I think you'll not encounter any problems that a little shimming won't fix.
