just read the story and thought I'd post the town for everybody on the lookout.

This is an inside job, which clearly indicates premeditation. They cut his throat in his house and broke into the steel connex behind his house to take the guns. He was a retired engineering professor at Brigham Young University, and had recently finished an LDS mission at Historic Cove Fort. If they can nail this one down, I doubt the DA will offer anything except to pull the needle out when all life function has ceased.
