I had a turn once with a 9mm STI Trojan, and I can say without exaggeration it is the most fun gun to shoot; if you shoot one, you want one.

Have you thought about 38 Super?

Don't forget the 38 Super. I have a custom built Colt, all-steel Commander and it is a dream to shoot. I have recently been salivating over a LW Commander in 38 Super that a friend has for sale. Besides low recoil and excellent accuracy, you get 10 rounds plus 1 in factory mags.
