Yeah, I'm thinking late August, maybe early September it will start coming back around.I’m betting the panic has a dormant period, mutates and then returns by the fall.
Hoarders aren't shooters, wouldn't want to use what they've got.
By definition, hoarding is keeping things you won't use, or more than you need. Keeping enough on hand for times of limited supply isn't hoarding.Maybe true for some but I've learned my lesson a few times over. I used to buy and shoot alot and didnt "hoard" any but then when some stupid panic rolled around I had nothing and if I wanted to shoot had to pay rip off prices. I think it only makes sense to stack it deep and cheap when you can and never leave yourself with nothing. I wouldnt shoot up all the ammo I bought when it was cheap during a time of panic.
Simple formula - buy 2 - shoot one -
But the price gouging has just begun! Sportsmans outdoor super store jacked up their price on 50 rounds of Sellier and Bellot 45 acp from 12.89 just 2 weeks ago up to 21.99 now! I've given them tons of business in the past but will never buy from them ever again.
Bikedoc,
Be glad you never bought a money pit Mercedes. They are way over rated. I know from personal experience.
I made it through all of the panic`s buying a little ammo here and a little ammo there. Now at this current time I have an ammo supply that is second to none.

Good post.Rant on
I work p/t in a lgs.
I despise the hoarder/panicker type.Everything that has gone on since 911 and these bozo's are not ready? Or still greedy. I got 5K of every caliber on the shelf since 95. Simple formula - buy 2 - shoot one - whether it be box, brick, battle pack or case.
I Don't go to Starbucks, have a $1000 phone, ordrive a benz and still live real good. Priorities gentlemen!I
A pox on all the hoarders! I'm not nice to them and you should not be either.
When did wash your hands, and stay out of crowds become hoard toilet paper and ammo!!!I
Rant off!

If you shoot 1000 rounds a year. But you stock pile more than 10000 rounds, you might be a hoarder.
Stay out of crowds is my basic lifestyle choice. People freaking out about having to stay home makes no sense to me.When did wash your hands, and stay out of crowds become hoard toilet paper and ammo!!!I
