Good suggestions. The parts kit assembly instructions have been posted and made available for download. Videos will take longer.
The only lockup is by the standard AR buffer and spring, along with the "pull" portion of the pump cycle. There is no bolt lock as in a pump shotgun. Unloading is accomplished simply by cycling the pump. I have thoughts of ways to add such a bolt lock, but it would require modifications to the lower receiver, and that would violate the overall intent to make the pump action modular to fit on SA ARs without needing modifications to do so. Adding it to the upper assembly would make it too clumsy to operate.
The AFG (or whatever the owner chooses as a front grip) will attach to a sliding shuttle inside the FF handguard via a short Picatinney rail for generic attachment. These reciprocate, and move the op rod which attaches to the bolt carrier. The op rod attachment to the bolt carrier allows a "push pull" operation for more control and reliable bolt lockup.
