444- My point is that I never bashed him for using Hi-Points, I just simply refute the statement that "Hi-Points rule!". I don't think they rule, does that make me a snob? I don't like Geo Metro hatchbacks either, am I a car snob? Or I don't like cigarettes but I can enjoy a quality cigar, am I a tobacco snob? Just because people don't like Hi-Point, that means to me that they just don't like Hi-Point. But others would like to make it a class warfare issue and call people snobs.

The problem with Hi-Point's is that the VAST majority (like 95% or more)of people who put them down as absolute garbage couldnt pick one out of a lineup if their lives depended on it.I have numerous "quality" guns by other peoples standards but my Glock 21 or CZ 75 or S&W 422,or FEG HP,or Makarovs,or SKS's which probably just about anyone here would call a quality gun dont shoot any nicer or any more reliably than my Hi-Point.Thats a fact whether YOU choose to believe it or not.The Hi-Points I'VE seen are great shooting and utterly RELIABLE! People put them down because they are relatively clueless about them and automatically assume that a gun that costs $120.00-$150.00 has to be junk-theyre wrong as far as I'M concerned.

There has always been something about the Hi-Point that has intrigued me.
They are just so ugly that they're oddly fascinating.

I will probably add a Hi-Point to my collection someday, and put it in the safe right next to the H&K VP70!

If it wasn't for guns like High Point what would we carry in our John boats to keep the snakes from crawling in with us? The alternative could end up at the bottum of a creek and that would be enough to make you cry.:(
