Got some overtime coming and figure I deserve to reward myself for all my hard work.
So, in the $500 price range, what do I need? Already have double action wheel guns, a 1911, various .22 rimfires, more shotguns than I need and hunting rifles I don't use. I don't shoot competition, used to hunt but not so much anymore. Spend most of my time just punching paper or plinking at the range.

Don't have a lever gun, Marlin 1894FG 41 mag would be cool. Already reload for .41 and it would go nice with my Blackhawk. Then again a 45/70 or .444 Marlin would be cool too.

Maybe another Blackhawk only in .30 carbine. Reload for it already and from what I hear they are real attention getters at the range.

Build another custom 10/22 only this time a hunting gun instead of a 9.5 lb bench rifle.

Something in .17HRM "because it's there".

Plain Jane Milspec .45 (??)

Three Highpoints and a Jennings?

A Mosin Nagant 91/30 & 5000 rounds of centerfire rifle ammo - LOTS of plinking there. Of course you will probably also want to invest in a $1.99 bottle of Windex also ;) .

OK, add AK to the list. Don't have any "evil assault" weapons in my collection.
Add another one too, Savage 10FP in .308 'cause they're sooo tactical.

$500.00 worth of pocket holsters bought from yours truely:D

OR

1 Saiga 12 guage

1 Ak

ammo for both

Instead of getting a new gun, why not spend the money giving one a tune up instead?

In the $500 range, you can get some really great scopes.

Definatly invest in an Evil Black Rifle. There may come a time sooner for these rifles than anything else when you simply CAN'T buy them anymore.

I've narrowed it down to the Savage 10FP or the Marlin 1894. Leaning heavilly towards the Marlin. Found one on Gunbroker for $400 +shipping & transfer fees but it's ending soon. Gotta talk to the boss when she gets home.
