Another newbie question..

Everyone states that the reload cycle is:

Clean, de-prime, resize, trim (neck, COL etc), champfer, prime, charge, bullet seat...

Now what about any brass dust that might stick inside of the case? Wouldnt that be detremental to the barrel or am I just doing something silly once again?

Most all of it falls out during handling between stages.

And brass dust would not harm a barrel.
At least any more then the copper, or brass, or steel jacketed bullets you shoot through it.

I myself;

Tumble clean, de-prime/resize, trim, chamfer, tumble clean again, prime, charge, seat bullet.

The way I see it, I like to clean the brass before I put it in my dies and other tooling, and every time I cut brass (trimming and chamfering) I like to clean it again. Sometime I de-prime before my first cleaning so the primer pocket might get cleaned.

I tumble after trimming, reaming, & chamfering. Most of it will fall out etc., but heck, it's a one time thing with revolver brass, and not all that often with rifle brass, so why not. It also smooths up any sharp edges on the case mouth.
