Another pawn shop score.

My best pawn shop score was a no dash S&W 629 with the original target stocks for $600 OTD a couple of years ago. It looked like it had never been fired.

I don't think I have ever bought a rifle from a pawn shop.

Stopped in again this week. Now he has a 1980s vintage Mini 14 with a scope mounted on it that he took on pawn. Said he wanted to give the guy a couple more extra days to buy it back but he would let me know. Said he would take around $600 for it. Don't know if that's a good deal or not. What do you folks think?

1980’s vintage Mini 14 is probably. 6-8 MOA gun. I wouldn’t buy it for half.

I have an acquaintance that just bought an entire estate, 40 guns for $4,000. Yeah, $100 apiece.

Guy that was in his 60’s passed, and his father that is in his 90’s was gonna take them to the cop shop and have them destroyed

One is a custom bench rifle in .220 Swift, another is a pristine 99 Savage in.300 Savage with the original scope. Some are just older bolt shotguns and .22’s

He told the guy that he could get more if he sold them individually. Didn’t care, wanted them gone.

Best score I ever saw was when my dad bought a full lug 6" model 29 at the pawn shop for $375. I was 17 and loaned him the 75. When it came time to pay me back cash was tight, and I gave him the $276 I had left from my paycheck and bought it from him. Total cost to me $351...

Our local pawn shops arent even worth stopping at. Want a beat to ****e Ruger P89 for $350? How about a sporterized, rusty, incomplete SKS for $499?

I found a pretty good air compressor for $50 one time in a pawn shop. I used it for many years before I gave it away. The guy I gave it to says it still works and he's had it at least 5 years. Never found a decent deal on a firearm in a pawn shop around here.

Some guys have all the luck. Nice score.
