Three important things you might have missed in my post:

1. The part where I said, "Speaking for me..." I didn't think you were necessarily talking about my post. I was responding to the points in your post, though, i.e. How much do I save, customer service, etc.

2. The part where I said, "Dude! Mellow out!" You are clearly taking Wallyworld too seriously when you have "IF YOU SHOP AT WALMART YOU GET WHAT YOU DESERVE!!!" in bold caps across your post. It's just a department store, not the Antichrist. Some like it; some don't. Some shop there; some don't.

3. The part where I said, "Find your 'happy place.'" Really. Life's too short to get pissed about Walmart. Bad customer service can be anywhere, and often is. I'll bet if we search all the topics on the board for the last year, we'll find the Number of Bad WW Customer Service threads = Jerk Behind the Counter at the Gunstore threads.

Wallyworld. I love it. You hate it. It's all good.

I've done the ol' submachine gun trick myself. Got a good laugh out of the guy cashing my out at the sporting goods counter. They aren't all bad. Although, my big rant with wal-mart right now is that I wanted to know if they could order me a Remmy 870 Marine Magnum. They called it in, and said the warehouse carries them, but wal-mart won't sell them because they are a home defense weapon....

The Walmart that I go to has shotgun shells behind the counter and over on a shelf that is not behind the counter. I always grab the shells on the shelf and pay at the checkout. The cashiers do give you a funny look. Can you imagine the best rated number one store in sales in the world right here in Pinellas Park, Florida complete with an outside vending machine to buy fishing bait from so you don't have to go inside. Amazing, glad to be a redneck. Get Er Done!

No, but food is pretty cheap at walmart. That's a big bonus for those of us on a small income. They sell pizza by the slice at the little lunch counter in our walmart for 1.98 a piece, and then serve you a "slice" that when cut in half serves two adults. It doesn't taste all that great, but it's pretty filling

They still have the best price for range ammo. I don't think that anyone has the WWB any cheaper and in 100 round packs. I don't care how helpful or knowledgeable the clerk is, as long as he hands me the ammo. Even if he doesn't know what I want, I do...

Since I work the 2nd shift the only place open after work is the super center in Bonner.Not very crowded at midnite and it's on the way home.
WalMart is just a place to buy stuff....

Walmart Super Center has the cheapest food prices around becuase of their buying power. Most of the time their daily prices are cheaper than the other stores on sale prices. Alot of chain grocery stores are closing alot of stores because of Walmart. As the Alan jackson song said-'The Little Man'.
I buy all of my groceries there and save alot of money to use form other bills like range time and ammo.

The Walmart in Pomona asks to see your DL so they can fill out a form with your DL# and what kind of ammo you bought. Tried buying ammo there once, when I saw the clerk start filling out the form... I asked for my DL back and left.

Shoot, I get mad anytime I try to buy a cart full of stuff at Wal-Mart and there are 100 people in line and just 2 or 3 registers open.
