I am thinking of getting a pistol caliber carbine (9mm or 45acp). It will be mainly a fun range gun. I reload these calibers in pretty large quanities, so a hi mag rifle would be a good partner for my pistols. Does anyone have any experience or now what the general thoughts are on the Just Right Carbines?

I would maybe be interested in one if they made it in .357 mag. I have a Marlin lever carbine in .357 and can't stop grinning every time I shoot it!
I have a stupid question about that 357 lever. What is the capacity of it? Can it hold more 38sp than 357?

A .357mag option would be sweet. Maybe it would take DE mags. Otherwise I kind of like the idea of a 9mm Glock mag version.

The JR website would be a lot better if they included alot of photos of their product since it is something most nobody has ever seen or heard of before.

Totally unimpressed with them.

I handled one last week at a LGS. The magazine (uses Glock mags) had a lot of back and forth wiggle in the mag well. This slop will change the angle of every cartridge that is fed into the chamber. Combined with the simple blow-back action and cost I was not impressed with its overall quality.

I like. They're accurate, can accept AR junk, and have a bit of heft in the right places.:)

Plus, IME, they shoot circles around KelTecs on any day ending in Y.

I looked at one in a LGS and I was not impressed. Too many sharp edges on it, too heavy, and overpriced. I ended up paying less than 1/3th the price of the JustRight and bought a Hi-Point 9mm carbine that day instead, which I think is a good gun. It has never jammed on me with all kinds of ammo and is accurate.

In actual use, they are great. ;) About 1000 reliable rounds through mine
