Maybe I am overlooking them, but I can't seem to find any modern Bolt Action 7x57's in production. The only thing I have seen is the Ruger #1 which is a single shot.

I saw two NIB ruger 77's the other day. Synthetic stocks. Think they were blued. Looked like new/old stock.

i think most manufactures make the 7mm-08 now, i havn't seen a new 7x57 in years. ruger does make them someitmes, but that has allready been said.

Since most better modern bolt actions are based on the Mauser action, why not just buy an original 7MM Mauser of which there are 20 gazillion and be done with it?

This is my Steyr Mannlicher Model M in 7x57. It now wears a Leupold VX-III 2.5-8x36 scope in Cone-trol rings/bases.

Ruger made MkI and MkII M77s in 7x57, and you can often find Interarms/Zastava modern Mausers for sale in 7x57.

thanks for the feedback guys. I have a sporterized mauser now, and man it is tackdriver. I reload for it, and it is a good caliber to customize. Guess I need to keep my eye open at the local gun shows.

Remington made a run of them for their M-700 Mnt Rifle in 1991-1992.

And I got one!

I have a Ruger 77, blue with the synthetic stock..skeleton stock I call it. It is a shooter! I have taken many whitetail and hogs with it. Had it for about 5 years. I really love this rifle.
