Anybody else like gun stickers/decals

Gun stickers say 'steal me' as much as those stupid family stickers say 'murder us'

I see Sig stickers on cars all the time. All I think is, gross, Sig Sauer.

Most people don't notice me Open Carrying, they sure as heck dont notice a sticker on my bumper... Too busy texting while driving.

Right, that's why when I was 21, my Alpine stuff got ripped off from my locked car in a parking lot in broad frigging daylight, 3 days after I put the Alpine logo on my rear window.

Lucky for me, the 1911 handgun in the glovebox was still there.

I'm sure if I had a sticker of a gun on the car, they would have known to look for THAT too.

Because you sure as heck couldn't SEE any of the stereo gear; speakers were in the hatch, covered by the flap the Z28 had, the 12 disk changer was under the driver's seat, and the amp was under a side panel in the hatch and completely hidden from view.

Having a gun related sticker on your car in some places is like having sticker with a pot leaf on it. It can cause the police to find a reason to stop and search your car.

No need to rehash whats been stated, but I use to have a USPSA and Magpul decals on the rear window and a license plate 45CAL. That was before I learned the term OPSEC. It's too bad we as gun enthusiasts don't have a decal of some sort that would let other "good guys" know of our passion, but wouldn't attract unwanted attention. Something along the lines of the whole Mason compass and square.

Surely it's more like PERSEC? Sorry, just being pedantic here ;)

No gun stickers on either vehicle. And if I put a Romney sticker on my truck, the truck would be vandalized the very first day it was on there.

I live in IL, and I work construction. During the '88 election season, I had a "Defend firearms, defeat Dukakis" on the back of my work truck. The first week it was on there, somebody wrote, in pencil, an obvious obscenity on the sticker. Really classy.

But it taught me a lesson, no more stickers on the vehicles.

I have a Washington State Patrol Troopers Association active supporter shield on my car. That's it.

I have a gallon ziploc bag full of various stickers I've collected from buying and ordering from all sorts of companies and vendors. I just don't know what to stick them on. I've made out quite a few logos on other vehicles though. It's always fun seeing a wordless logo and being able to identify what it is.

Not a sticker, but I once saw a custom license plate that read 'COPSWIFE'.
I hope somebody had a quiet word with that couple.

On my gun locker, loading bench and related cabinets, and my beer fridge. Not my vehicle or home.

Nothing on my car, though I occasionally Scotch tape a clever sticky or poster up to an out-of-the-way wall in my house.

Bad enough I drive a Subaru, which is the latest "liberal" car around here. (Used to be a Volvo tagged you as a "liberal.")

A couple of years ago, I even quit using my ham call-letter plates on my car.

Anonymous little old me.

Not on my Truck but I do love to see them on other peoples vehicles. Just nice to know the militia is alive and well.

I still have a "No More Blago" sticker on the door to my reloading room at eye level. Picked it up before our now-felonious governor was re-elected last time, and when he was convicted, I swore I'd never, ever remove it or paint over it. :)

Then you get inside and I have stuff on the walls like "excuse the noise, it's the sound of freedom" or "if you can read this, you're in range"... or "General Electric Minigun: We bring good things to life!"

what people don't know won't hurt you. i know of an instance where some nature walkers parked their car in a lot frequented by hunters only to catch a tree hugger smashing the crap out of their car. the "lady" tree hugger was arrested--she didn't like people killing animals:barf:.

Our vehicles

have no stickers related to guns, period, end of story. That is just advertising that my car or my house has firearms inside that someone might decide to steal.

Yes, I have them and like them. On my laptop, my truck, my guitar case. However, on my truck, I do actually make a bit of an effort to keep them of a nature that only other gun guys will understand them. Things like the Magpul logo, and "Molon Labe".

Does anyone know where I can get a Violence Policy Center Donor sticker...

Oh wait, THAT might not be a good idea either.

Learned about PERSEC the hard way.

The Jeep has an NRA sticker and an old Sig sticker that just won't come off...

The stickers being "advertisement" doesn't bother me. I don't ever leave anything valuable in my vehicle.

My wife has a pink Beretta sticker on her side and a silver Beretta sticker on my side of our eco-mobile, living in walking distance of a college campus in freakin' Oregon.

The only attention she's ever got was positive for it.

I bought my first gun in part when the US got polarized so badly that I realized it's supposedly only the "conservatives" who have guns.
Luckily I now realize that's not the case. I guess not everyone is so lucky, no?

I have a "coexist" sticker, with the logo formed from gun manufacturer logos, I have had several people ask me where I got it. (cafepress, but I don't think it's there anymore.) It's next to my sticker that says; "my autistic kid will lick your honor student".

I've got 2 archery stickers on my truck (BowTech and Strother Archery) and a european mount decal. Easy enough to see there are no bows in the truck if someone was in the market for one. My gun stickers stay on stuff in the house (cleaning kit, etc.)

Just a small "Molon Labe" sticker on the bumper of the old F150. Most non-gun peeps probably think it's some allegiance to a college fraternity.

I agree, the stickers are great.........on other people's cars .
Enjoy seeing them displayed, just not on my vehicles or home.
Inside my RSC? Oh, heck yeah! :neener:
Molon Labe stickers.....I have seen a few around. Still, nothing gun related will be publicly displayed. JMHO :).

YMMV
