I went to the range and pretty much had the place to myself. I shot 200 rounds thru my Neos firing at some paper targets and orange ping pong balls. Then I shot 200 rounds thru my Vertec. Man that was fun!

Hope you guys and gals got to shoot some too.;)

Heck Yeah! Shot some rounds out of the Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 mag with the 10 1/2" barrel that my fifteen year old received today as an advanced birthday gift from his mother and I. The sound of liberty, gotta love it.

My son and I were driving around the ranch and stopped at the gunrange. I only shot about a dozen clay pigeons, but my 3 year old said "Yea Daddy!" and clapped every time I broke one.:D

Not today, working dark to dark at the hospital. I went yesterday and some friends and I are going tomorrow. Somebody has to take care of the sick, lame and lazy on the holidays.:D

Spent the afternoon shooting

Spent a couple of hours at the range chronographing some 38 spl, 9mm and 45 ACP. Then I set a round steel 12" target up at 40 yards and shot the rest of my hand loads.

Son and I took his Marlin 444 Outfitter, and my brand new Uberti 1885 Highwall in .45-70 to the range. Shot a full box of the .45-70 and had a whale of a time hitting an 18" x 18" metal plate at 200 yards. Had more fun than with any of my modern 'tactical' rifles. This thing is addicting...:p

Nah, the car has had me pretty tied up the past two days. Besides, the range I go to was closed today anyway.

Yes, was visiting a friend in Fairfax, VA, and showed him my new Taurus PT-145 Millennium Pro. Of course, we just had to shoot it, so he took me to the Fairfax Co Izaak Walton range. Had a great time putting it and my Kel-Tec P-32 through their paces.

I hauled out all the guns today i rarley shoot.

44 mag old model supper blackhawk

Model 27-2 smith

Original .45 gov't.

Pre model 18 smith

They are all in excellent condition, so i don't shoot them often.

But i enjoyed shooting them, and decided to shoot them more.

I didn't have any fireworks (I think all the fun ones are illegal here anyway) so I touched off a couple cylinders full of blanks in one of my 1860 Army clones. Very fun - we got a big gout of flame out of 'em. :)

fired a box or two through, Witness 45ACP, Maadi, Mosin Nagant, and some of my father-in-law and Brother-in-law's guns. All in all a great afternoon.

Yep. 100 12 guage shells at trap and 140 rounds of 8mm at the tin can range. Could not ask for better weather.

Oh yeah! Ran a couple of mags through the Tomcat and a few through the ported XD-9 about dark. Finished off the evening by emptying a 30 round mag on my friend's Colt full auto AR-15. He lives in the country and we shot at those black and green glowy targets against a berm. Skipped the bottle rockets this year.

Yep

Some good ole' American Ruger 10/22's, (2) Ruger MkII's and its not 4Th of July unless you unleash 230grs of lead from a 1911. :)

:D :D

Brought my GF's younger sister and cousin to the range today. First-timers. They did pretty decent and had lots of fun. More importantly, they no longer cower in fear of the Tools of Satan. Two more minds freed from the anti-Matrix.

Shot the 22/45, the G19, and the BHP. Fun, fun, fun. Happy 4th. :)
