I'm so excited about today's decision I've decided to go buy another gun. My son is 11 and I want to get something to celebrate today and be able to give it him when he's older. Not sure what I want though; just something to say this was purchased for you on the day of the decision. Any advice?

I dunno...

Barrett light 50?

a Sig 210?

Hitler's personal P38?

What would you like to buy? When you answer that.... go buy it

maybe a .22 for the kid...10/22 Marlin 60 etc.

Hmm...I've got a gun waiting for me at my FFL dealer. If I pay his transfer fee and pick it up today, does it still count?

Can't do it today, but will definately get a "Heller Special" in the next day or two - a high cap semi auto in honor of Hizzoner Fenty, Mayor of D.C.

Thinking about getting something new myself today. Bass Pro had a nice Uberti single action in the other day for a good price. May have to get it now.

Just got back from Bass. Brand new 45LC single action has been added to the collection. The gun counter there was packed and everyone was talking about Heller.

Spent too much in the last month on a custom M14, a plain-jane A2 AR-15, a CZ-75 stainless, 1000 rounds of rifle ammo and 2 dozen AR magazines.

But this decision IS monumental, and as such deserves a fitting trophy in my safe to honor the day.:)

Maybe I'll buy that Browning A-Bolt I've been threatening to get, left-handed in 7mm RemMag. I don't have an evil "Sniper Rifle" yet. It's even stainless/synthetic to be more threatening and intimidating.

Picked up a Para LDA PDA in 45 last Friday. I had my name in the pot for when one came available so I cannot say it was because of Heller. I really did not need but wanted a small, lightweight 45 in the double action for carry, I have a Kimber Ultra carrry, same size and weight but I cannot get comfortable carrying cocked and locked., just something about seeing that hammer back. The biggest difference here is a longer but very good trigger pull, and double action with each shot. It's a good shooter.

I might have to celebrate by picking up a nice classic piece I have been eyeballing/admireing/lusting after.

A big day for gun owners and peacefull, law abiding citizens everywhere.

I plan to wait for 30 days. Glock, being so trendy, I am certain will offer a commemorative Pistol for this date.

I'm not a Glock fan... but if they made a commemorative model with an image of Michael Bloomberg crying his eyes out on the slide, I might just have to try out some tactical tupperware! :)

Why not buy a gun today the day that we beat the pants off the anti gun forces. I am going to buy the most hated type of gun out there. Proably with hi cap mags, barrel shroud, flash hider, pistol grip, and a short barrel.

Unfortunately I spent all my money Monday on a gun purchase.

It was too good of a deal to pass up:

I think I might go to the range today to celebrate.

Well it may not be a family heirloom, but I made good on my intent to buy something today. I just got a Taurus OSS in 45. I traded in some safe junk- guns and walked out with it for $75. My son is anxious to shoot it as he is the one who insisted on it over the 9mm OSS. This will be his 1st 45 to shoot. Can't get it out to the range until next week and will post a report. Anyone else follow thru today?

Since Scalia said the test was basically going to be how commonly used a gun was, get out there and buy yourself an AR, AK, or .50 BMG right now!

I grabbed a 75 SP-01 off gunbroker last week. SHould arrive in town early next week.

Thats as close as I can get:mad:
