I have been struggling with shoulder issues in my dominant arm for a while now, so low recoil cartridges have increased their appeal. I like 350 Legend and have fooled with downloading it with cast for a specific application, but I also would like to design more accurate full house loads. I managed to bag my first pronghorn today with 350 using factory Hornady interlocks (got within 75 yards by being a sneaky bastard, stone dead at the point of impact), but neither they or (definitely) the federal fusions I have shot quite live up to my expectations. Any hints or tips? Obviously powder availability will be tricky, but I do have lil gun, 2400 and factory Win and Hornady bullets on hand.

I like the 165 ftx bullets in mine it’s an AR I built it has a Cmng barrel 18 inches it hovers just under an inch and that’s plenty for me I also use lil Gun remember it’s a straight wall hunting cartridge accuracy isn’t the main reason they built it if you’re looking for more accuracy I would suggest the 6mm ARC ymmv

Can't say that I load mine for accuracy. But my 18" barrel AR puts 3 shots into 3/4 or little better. The 4th and 5th shot open them up to slightly over an inch. Factory ammo shoots satisfactory but my reloads using 27.6gr Lil Gun, Starline Brass and a Hornady 170gr SP does all I ever need it to do.

I'd say the federal fusion is 2 or 3 inch groups at 100 yards. The factory hornady are more like an inch or two. This is out of a 16" barrel upper. I guess I just need to get to work dialing in a load to my satisfaction, just haven't had the time to do the load workup. Since factory ammo is now scarce and expensive, I suppose I have plenty of motivation.
