I have a Ruger sr9, loaded with Speer Gold dot, 127 grain, + P. I've not shot any speers through the gun yet, primarily because I can't afford to buy anymore right now, so until I can replace them, I dont want to shoot the only SD ammo I have. Have you shot this ammo in your SR9? How does it perform in it? Feeding problems? Jamming? FTF? Just curious to know if this particular round has a good Rep in the sr9? THANKS!

20 commercial rounds went flawlessly through my wife's SR9. That was followed by 51 rounds (17x3) of my Speer Gold Dot loading and then about 200 rounds of my own cast 124 grain TC rounds. As soon as she gets a CTC laser it replaces my Gen4 19 on her bedside table.

You do realize that doe to manufacturing tolerances what works in my SR9 has absolutely no bearing on what will or won't work in yours.

+1 Even you shoot only five rounds, you need to fire your gun. The more the better, but you got to fire it.

It's all I carry in my SR9c, functions flawlessly. But as already said, doesn't mean your gun will like the ammo. This particular gun, however, has a reputation for eating almost anything.

I'm going to go shoot tomorrow. Ill run some through it, just to be safe and make sure it likes the speers.
