Haven't heard that, interesting. Repeated chambering in an AR (or other semiautos) can also cause bullet setback, which causes increased pressure, which can cause kaboom.It seemed that by continuously chambering and re-chambering the same round when clearing a weapon, it increased the possibility of having the round fire due to repeated taps by the firing pin on the same primer.
