Arsenal AK = Massive Fail (pics included)

I've never seen any ak with a chrome lined receiver or gas tube. I've seen them with hard chromed gas pistons, and chrome lined barrels.
I stand corrected, by "gas tube" I meant the piston (though upon second thought, the piston may have been chromed...I didn't remove it and look) and by "receiver" I meant the chamber. Thanks helping to clarify, I've edited the above post.

Wow, how in the world it passed the quality check of Arsenal? Amazing it has gone that far . They need to make it right with you pronto....

Things happen. Excellent QC can have a slip up or an escape once in awhile. Manufacturers typically plan for it in their statistics.

This isn't a "massive fail". This was an assembly error that was subtle enough they didn't catch it. (Which, they should have..)

I once had the locking lugs shear off on a post-ban Egyptian Maadi. THAT was a massive fail. :)

IMO it is a massive fail.

Proper barrel assembly is a major part of any rifle. If its crooked, canted, or bent, it will not shoot POA.

Not only that, each rifle should be inspected before it goes out to the customer. I don't know the policy of each company, but if they don't even do a quick inspection or function check, then that is a fail on the company's end.

Glad it got sorted out though. Post pics when you can.
