I know this isn’t an atv forum, but I just bought one and need advise. I just bought a new 2021 Suzuki KingQuad 750 w/ power steering. I’m not crazy rough on my atv all the time, but I am at times in the woods, especially during deer season: plowing over small trees, up and down stuff I shouldn’t...etc. I want to find the best grill guard and skid plate for the money for my new ATV. I’ve been looking, and most advise is old. What do you suggest... does anyone have a new model KQ and have advise for grill guards and skid plates?

What about a winch? I know I want a non metal one. My last one was terrible to unwind and wind, and I’ve been told rope winches are plenty tough enough

If you want the best for your money, and it will be some money, look at a local metal fabricator/hot rodder. If your in an area where recreational use of RVs is common, there may be some who specialize in ATV accessories. Most of the OEM and aftermarket versions I've found for the Polaris versions are straight garbage compared to the diamond plate and welded channel my local redneck hotrodder came up with for slightly more money.

ETA winches: Depends on your use. If you're just hoisting a deer or getting a mildly stuck machine out, a non-metallic rope winch would probably suffice. If you're logging or extricating buried machines, metal cable and a solid winch from Warne is indispensable.

I will say I beat the living $$$ out of my ATV. I buy "disposable" Polaris 500s with interchangeable parts. I usually have a "good" one and a "parts" one on hand. When the good one becomes a parts one, the valuable accessories are transferred. I'm logging in boggy forest, clearing trails, beaver trapping, ice fishing, etc. Very hard use, too hard for a nice machine. Stuff breaks LOL.

Agree with Random 8, the factory and aftermarket bumpers, crash bars, and such look beefy but are thin walled and poorly welded. Find yourself a good fab shop and have something made that will take some punishment.

I prefer the smaller 4 wheelers myself main thing you want to protect are the CV boots (change one and you’ll understand), the rest are covered fairly well but like I said the 500 we have is the largest one we have the rest are 350 or less.
