I am going to travel to AZ in our RV. I have an AZ permit and it recognizes my NM CHL.

I had thought that the prohibition of carrying in a restaurant that served alcohol had been repealed. However, I can not find that to be the case.

Is that prohibition still in place?

Edited
It appears that there is not a similar prohibition re alcohol in CO. Is this true that you can go to a restaurant that serves alcohol while carrying concealed?

Thanks,
Jerry

Our Lady Governor vetoed the restaurant/bar/alcohol bill, so you can't carry where alcohol is sold for consumption.

I understand that CO. is considering a law that would only recognize out-of-state permits if you were a resident of the issuing state. As a resident of NM your NM license would be O.K., but your Arizona license wouldn't be.

Thanks for the replies. I think I had AZ and alcohol regs confused with AR. If I am not mistaken AR recently changed the law to permit carry in a restaurant that serves alcohol.

I am not going to AR this trip, but may go to both AZ and CO.

Regards,
Jerry

Swing through AZ, and enjoy! Yes, you may not carry in places that serve alcohol, but there are resteraunts that don't serve. Not as many, but they are there. Come on down, and please make sure you have plenty of water in your vehicle.

Hi armoredman,

Thanks. Being from southern NM I make sure I have plenty of water, and my vehicle's cooling and aircondition systems are in good shape.

We usually go to Flagstaff, and make that our headquaters for short trips to Sedona and Prescott.

Thanks for the info, All. I like to be up to date.

Regards,
Jerry
