What does stuff like '25 Yrd. Reduction of 50 Yrd.' and '50 Ft. (Reduc. of 50 Yrd.)' mean?

If I'm reading your question right.......shooting at a reduced target simulates shooting at a greater distance.

Such as in CMP Highpower competitions. Many ranges are limited to 100 yards........so you shoot at reduced targets....SR-1 (simulates 200yd range @ 100yds), SR-21 (simulates 300yd range @ 100yds), MR-31 (simulates 600yd range @ 100yds)...the black target area is reduced proportionally (sp?) to simulate the above ranges.

So......."25yd reduction of 50yd".......sounds like your shooting at a target 25yds away........although because of the reduction.....it would look like a 50yd range.

Ditto. The shrunk version is designed to be the same angular size at 25 yd that the full-size version is at 50 yd, etc. Lets you practice for longer-range competition on a short range.

I've gained weight and STILL fit entirely inside the 7-ring width of the B-27.

Beware the B-27 for training purposes. Though I really like its truly realistic accuracy-measuring 10 and X-rings, they are too low in the silhouette for really good hits. The top of the 10-ring is where the bottom of it should be.

Now, if I trim 3 inches off the top and put a B-27 center on an IPSC target with the top edge at the top of the shoulder, that's just about right.
