Always a possibility, albeit worse-case. I'd expect him to try to get some antis in the SCOTUS, and try to push incremental bans in Congress, leaving the law-abiding with bolt-actions and over-under shotguns. Maybe revolvers too.

If so, it will be a dark and violent time in which to live.

Colorado is a tie in the polls. It baffles me to no end. People in Boulder driving around with "Free Tibet" bumper stickers on one side of their bumper and "Kerry/Edwards" on the other. It is a close race and the mainstream media are carrying Kerry's water for him. That is millions of dollars that Kerry does not have to spend.

When I used to see posts like this, or the NRA saying not to vote for certain canidates, I'd just chuckle and wonder why are they wasting time. I mean ALL gun owners know that right?

Well, this morning, the conservative talk show host was talking about the AWB. A gun guy called in and starting talking about how the AWB was stupid, guns don't kill people..., it's the criminal not the gun...etc.

THEN he said the real problem was these small caliber guns like the .25 auto and .32 revolvers that were the real problem and should be eliminated. He said they served no purpose and are only used by criminals. He said THOSE GUNS should be banned.

We have a lot of work to do don't we?
