Will the Beretta 92 handle +P ammo ok or should I stick to standard pressure

I've run +p and +p+ through mine without noticeable signs of wear or damage. Total about 1200rnds all said and done, so nothing really long term. Normally I just run Nato spec 9mm FMJ. I do replace my recoil spring every 3000rnds though just to be safe. Might want to go to a heavier recoil spring if you plan on extended use of hotter ammo.

I shoot Aguila 115 +p with about 8k rounds through it. No problems at all, I have a heavier wolf recoil spring in it though

From what I've seen of active duty M9s, a steady diet of mil-spec M882 9mm (which is +p-ish pressure levels) will eventually crack your locking block, which in turn will probably damage your frame and predispose your pistol to breaking further locking blocks. However, changing your recoil spring more prudently military maintenance schedules, like MadMerc mentioned, will help with this.

Personally, I'd run standard pressure through the gun for range work (cheaper anyway) and save +p for real duty use (+/- some rounds to verify your specific load/brand/etc work) and you should be fine.

My plan is to carry the 124grain Winchester Bonded ammo which is +P...but to practice with standard pressure stuff...I was going to function test and fire enough +P to know how it handles
