I'm the proud owner of a low-mileage Beretta Compact. Nice size. It uses 13 round double-stack magazines.

I've tried the standard 15 round Beretta magazines in the Compact. They fit and lock perfectly EXCEPT they stick out of the bottom by about a half inch.
The lips and magazines are designed exactly the same in the Compact and the 92FS. The only difference is that the mags for the Compact are shorter.

The standard 15 round magazines are soooo easy to find. And cheap. Great to use for practice.

Does anyone know of an adapter to allow me to use the 15 round mags in the Compact? Seems simple to make something that will snap in above the floorplate...

Thanks!

I'd suppose someone somewhat talented could make their own. I'm not that sort of person:) Neat gun BTW, I rarely see them, I want the 8 shot version maybe.

FARRAR used to produce an small rubber device for that purpose but they went out of business. I have 2 of the above and still eager to buy a few more in case they arise from some dusty closet.I'm enclosing the mag spacer in a terrible foto.
