Beretta APX Free 5 Mags Promo

Has anyone tried to redeem the 5 free mags for buying an APX? It appears that Beretta is having problems with the online submission as it won't accept the serial number. Apparently they think the APX has a 7 character serial number while it is 8 characters. I called Beretta and the guy just told me to send in the submission, he appeared to be unaware that Beretta has an online submission.

You'd figure that with so many choices out there that companies would give intangibles like good CS to get your sales. I'm gonna mail the thing in, they better not give me a hard time. I'm even including a pic of the serial number on the side on the gun.

Here is a pic of the new APX. I swapped out the black frame for the FDE one.

Good plan. I had an issue with the sights on my new Beretta 92A1 and I found the customer service... well I found it to be VERY unimpressive, to say the least. In a nutshell, they told me to go suck an egg and the person on the other line seemed very bored and totally uninterested in my problem. I love Beretta firearms and the ones made in Italy especially are excellent. But the CS? It needs work.
