If picking one of the three guns provided which would it be and why? I have been looking at the beretta nano, beretta px4 storm compact, and the cz 75 p01 as my next concealed carry, now which do you prefer and what makes it more special than the others?

-Beretta nano
-Beretta px4 storm - with Decocking ability
-Cz 75 -p01

Don't own a Beretta. Do own several CZs and ( as much as a 1911 guy can be ) really enjoy em. You could say I'm a "Junior Fan Boy". I chose CZ.

I chose a P01 as I'm most familiar with the CZ platform having a 75B SA for a range gun.

It's a great shooting platform and gives up little to the full-size.

Are you a big guy? I mean, I'm not trying to break the rules of choosing off the list provided, but I don't see any of these being a carry option besides the nano, and I don't do 9mm. Had a full sized storm. It was alright. Checked the store and looked at the compact...was a little to bulky for my liking.
Nano would fit where ever I wanted it put it, however I was dressed. If wearing board shorts, I might be able to put it in my side pocket...but I wouldn't because it would print.
It depends on your size and your clothes you wear and how you want to primarily conceal it.
So my vote goes to the nano.

I voted p01 because I love everything about Cz and consider the p01 the most versatile and best 9mm made in its price range and above. Can be a duty gun or conceal carry if your body can comfortably hide it. If conceal carry is the primary concern then I'd pick the nano because it's a subcompact. The px4 compact is by all accounts a great option as well with great reviews, so basically no matter what you choose you can't really lose. Gonna come down to what you like and shoot best that fits your needs.

I carried a P-01 concealed for many years, and it was quite comfortable with the right holster/belt combo. I have also carried a Beretta PX4 Storm Compact concealed, and also no issue with the right holster, (High Noon Down Under with clip on that one), but I didn't like it as much.

Kind of an apple to oranges selection there mainly because the Beretta Nano is so much smaller than the Beretta PX4 Storm Compact or the CZ P01. When I was looking for a sub-compact 9mm. I went with the Kahr CM9 over the Nano because I felt the CM9 had better overall ergonomics and a nicer trigger on it.

If I were choosing between the PX4 Compact and the P01 I would again go with the P01 for it's ergonomics (the grip design feels a lot like my favorite, the Browning Hi-Power). Very comfortable to carry and easy to conceal with the right holster and belt combination.

I would say the Nano is best suited for concealed carry because of it's size and weight. This would be especially appropriate in hot weather climates for wearing shorts and a tshirt.

My preferred carry size is more in the PX4c/P01 range, I don't like smaller guns (excepting the Glock 26)

Of those two I'd get the CZ hands down, no question.

Personally I would go with the Storm. The Nano is pretty small and I normally don't carry single stack 9mm. Even though I have one from another maker. I can't stand the feel of CZ guns, they have never appealed to me. I like the Storms. Very much like the service Beretta I carried with a few modern twists, so it would be a familiar weapon to me.

When the P-01 / PCR / 75 D Compact is being considered, it almost always wins automatically, in my book. The only time I wouldn't pick it is if the person wants a thinner (single stack) pocket gun. Otherwise, it's a near perfect handgun with great accuracy and reliability, not to mention 14+1 capacity :) I feel it balances very nicely in the hand  (Oh yeah, and compatibility with $19 Mec Gar mags for the full size CZ 75 is a nice bonus!)

UPDATE:
@chicharrones makes a good point that the OP has presented both subcompact and compact guns to choose from, which is apples and oranges. If you're actually wanting a subcompact (which I called a pocket gun), I'd go for a Ruger LC9s, as CZ sadly doesn't make single stacks... :(

Yeah imagine having a gun that big in a appendix carry. Like actually concealing the gun, not tossing a jacket barely over the holster. To each there own, but sizes like that don't make sense to me for concealment. I can stick my gov 1911 down my pants...it will fit...it wont even print...but it would be soo uncomfortable...same thing for back strap, and cross arm. Maybe under the arm with a jacket, but then I could just belt it on in a side holster.

Like I said, to each there own, but I'm just curious, so I respectfully like to debate a few points.

What does feeling good in the hand really do for you? how is that a tactical advantage? By all definition carrying a concealed gun is giving yourself a fighting action that will leverage you ability to fight. Natural point of aim with the right draw technique and muscle memory isn't a problem with any gun. Any new gun is will require training to gain muscle memory and a feel for how it handles. Same with carry ammo. Not printing, fits dressing styles, lightweight, comfortable, caliber that does significant damage to the human body, functionality (like safeties, or for me I like no safeties), sights, and reliability just seem to be more practical approach to me.

I've been carrying for a long time...everyday, everywhere. It's got to the point where its annoying to carry, but its a tool to get out of a bad situation and to not be a victim. I like my tools when I need them.

The P0-1 is very reliable and stunningly accurate. It feels great in the hand and handles recoil well, the trigger gets better with use. It is military approved by NATO. It is NOT a sub compact gun, there are better choices for that IMHO than the one you listed.

To me it means that I can manipulate it with one hand as quickly as possible.
I can't press the mag release on a Glock without moving the gun. But I can a M&P.

Sorry for the confusion in regards to the photo I posted. That was the "After" photo to show what I was concealing under my shirt. These are the "Before" photos I should have posted first:

I can pretty much do the same thing with a SIG P229 and a Ruger SR9c:

As far as a Sub Compact I can't think of a better one than a Performance Center Shield, I have been packing my own modified Shield about 3 years now and it is wonderful. I tried the new walther, I like a tuned (or Performance Center) Shield better. I also like the Para P12, or a Colt Officers model, but I am old school at heart.

None of the above. You just want to have us decide between the guns you have picked out. There are better guns out there. Just my opinion.

When you do a poll you need to do a "None of the above" with a caveat.

Gordon

Did somebody say Colt Officers Model? Definitely old school charm in a compact 1911!

Thank you Gordon and Bannockburn!
