Bersa/Firestorm Mini 9mm mags ..

All new owners of the Bersa/Firestorm Mini compact 9mms ... have any you nice folks tried to utilize the .40 mag trick in your 9mms for a psuedo hicap?

Has anyone found a good source for the mags, something cheaper then $50 per!!!!!!

bad idea. I know you got the idea from the BATF letter on the XD, however, the person writing the letter was no law scholor, he forgot to ask one important thing. You may legally load more than 10 rounds of 9mm into a 40 caliber mag, but the second you insert it into a 9mm gun you have violated the assault weapons ban.

well then, we have a problem ...

Because it seems to me that there are many many people that feel that the law states "as long as the original magazine still operates in the gun it was designed for, no law has been broken". So ... when I load my Steyr M9 with 12 rds in an M40 mag, I have broken the assult weapon ban ???

I dont mean to be snide ... but where were you ClubSoda, with this insight, when the discussion pertaining to 9mm in.40 mags took place numerous times over the past few years?

Anyone else want to way in on this?

I would agree...I dont think its a problem! From what IVE READ and understood, as long as you dont alter them and they are for that style of gun.....you dont have a problem.
