What is your favorite handgun of WWI or WWII besides the 1911?

I would say the BHP gets my vote.

What about you?

I've always liked the German P38 and own a couple post war P1 police surplus guns. I like the Browning HP but never thought of it as a WWII pistol.

For WWI, would have to be the British Webley Mk. VI.

For WWII, the Hi Power, followed very closely by the Polish Vis 35.

Always been a fan of the old Webleys and Enfields.
And, you can't certainley go wrong with a Browning action in the form of the Tokarev.
But, something that's always grabbed my attention is the Nagant 1895.

Luger and, well, um ... Luger. And don't forget the, ah, Luger. Did I mention the Luger?

Also like the Colt and S&W 1917 Revolvers and the S&W Victory.

1917 S&W, 45 ACP. The only thing I would change from the way it was issued would be the 1/2 moon clips. I prefer the full moon style.
