Goooooood Grieeeeeef!
Fellers, it's a lost cause! Four pages of posting and did anyone change anyone's mind one iota? Of course not. I've been in and observed a lot of arguments and never, ever, have I witnessed a change of beliefs...it simply ain't worth it nor does it serve any purpose. If we could divert some of this spent energy in the right direction, namely towards Obama, Biden, Pelosi and other idiots, we might get to keep our pieces. It's really funny to follow this thread from the original question down to the last post. I've learned the hard way that it is a lost cause to get into a pi**ing match with someone on "the other side of the fence". All it does is cause red faces and high blood pressure
!!
I own a Taurus PT 1911 SS and love it. The only problem I've had with it (and I posted it) was a pin fell out of it while cleaning it. It was stupid of me to post the problem as I discovered that this pin is loose in a lot of 1911's regardless of brand, and tends to fall out while disassembling so it's no big deal......just use a large white sheet so you can find the pin when she falls. However, the thread deterioated down to name calling as this one has.
Life's too short at the best and I'm planning on enjoying the rest of mine, even if I do have to live with a PT1911SS. If it missfires, I guess I'm a goner but I trust mine. It seems to be very well built, doesn't rattle when I shake it, and shoots anything I've fed it so far without a hiccup. I'll admit I haven't ran 55,237 rounds through it but in all honesty, I didn't plan on that many rounds when I bought it
And yeah, I'll also admit that I'd love to have a Colt, they're a beautifully built gun with a heckufa reputation but I spent the difference in price on ammo.....saw the shortage coming. And the "Billboard" doesn't bother me at all, can't tell it's affected it's accuracy in the least!
Let's go to the range and waste some powder, lead and paper!
Happy Shootin'
