Best 9mm

Check the search function. Pretty sure this has been discussed ad nauseum. That being said, I like my Sig Sauer P225, but if I could have any 9mm for CCW it would be a Glock 18C.

A PM-9 size with a solid frame that holds up, say maybe Titanium.

If I could have any 9mm for DEFENSE CCW, I'd go w/ the HK P7M8...Oh wait, I've got one of those already :D All I need now is one of those pesky CCW's :banghead:

I have 3 that I would trust my life with.

S&W 6906: 6 7/8" length, 5" height, 25.6 oz and holds 13 plus 1.
Sig P 239: 6.6 " " 5.1" H. 25.2 oz. " " 8 + 1
CZ75 PCR: 7.2" " 5." H. 27. oz " " 10 + 1

All in the same ballpark except for capacity. I shoot the S&W best
but Im improving on the others.

Glock 19. Holds a good deal of rounds in a package light enough to carry anywhere and has never failed on me.

For everyday CCW, I already carry a Kahr K9.

For HD, the SIG P226 gets my vote....15+1, great control, great accuracy, reliable.

Can't go wrong with a BHP, Beretta, CZ, HK, or Glock either.
:)

For 9mm CCW, I am happy with my Kahr K9. Small, reliable, accurate, and great grip and trigger. Great for summer carry.

When I go larger than the Kahr's size, I step up to 40 cal. (with the maximum 10 shot capacity from reasonably priced mags) with my Walther P99.

Over the years I have shot most all execpt the P7.
What is it about this pistol that owners love?
Why do you not see the P7 around alot?

The P7 is a natural pointer. It fits well in the hand, and because it is gas operated, the recovery is quick.

It also has a tendancy to get hot, because of the gases, and the price tag is real high....about 1500 bucks. The latter is the primary reason you do not see a lot of them around the range.

For SD/CCW:

CZ PCR, Sig P225 or SigP228 i that order

Have them all.

PCR is Fulltime...SIGs are safe guns anymore....not nearly as fun to shoot.

The PCR/BD's are to SIGs as XDs are to Glocks...more or less and zealots aside.
