I love this one too, and initial firing seems to indicate a tack driver. Loaded according to Colt's original instructions with Pryodex ffg and a tight fitting ball that shaved a ring it was a pleasure to shoot, carries well and feels good in the hand. It did have a long run, but didn't catch up to the 1847 .31 which had to be the most popular by number made and sold.
