Hello Folks

I think factory spring rating for the EAA Witness 10 mm Auto is 14 lb (I still have a factory recoil spring in mine)
What is the best "all around" rating to shoot "hot" ammo (like Corbon or Double Tap....I'm not a reloader) without problems (like feeding failures, cracking the slide, etc)...??

I heard 18 lb would be fine...is it correct?? Or I need to go higher??

There is a rating where only one spring is capable to handle both low-end and hot loads with no issues??

Wolff has spring ratings up to 22 lb for the EAA Witness...In what circumstances you need such stiff string???

Thank you very much for your answers and advice, I'm a very beginner at tuning pistols so any suggestion is greatly appreciated!!!

Regards
