Hey all,
I was just thinking , what individual piece of reloading equipment do you feel is the best bang for buck - or if you want to recommend a $75 trickler, that's fine too. The full $100 doesn't need to be spent but you can't go over. Links or pictures of items recomended would be great.

Best way to spend $100

-im not looking for any equipment for my own purchase and have enough stuff as it is, but you know how it is when you see something excellent it's hard to resist (especially if it's something that doesn't cost a lot)

Hand primer with probably every shell holder you will ever need. By far the best I’ve used.

HHMm, either a RCBS lockout die (if you use a progressive, onl;y about $40) or a WFT trimmer from little crow gun works, about $75 (I hear the Giraud Tri-Way is really good as well).
Trimming 223 went from being a pain in the behind to tolerable after I got the WFT. I don't even measure .223 brass now, I just run it thru the trimmer.

If it needs to get trimmed it does, otherwise it does not. Faster to poke them all in than it is to measure.

Without a doubt, the Lee hand press. It's a standard die compatible single stage that is easy to pull out and use anywhere.

Small base resizing 30-06 gives you a chest workout, but it is nice to just sit down on the couch and prep cases once in awhile. And yes, the press can handle it.

I have also taken it to the range to do load development. Just take primed brass, powder, bullets, scale etc to the range. It all fits in a toolbox, no tailgate or setup required.

My all time favorite reloading tool (besides my Co-Ax) is a Lee Loader. I have loaded thousands of rounds with mine. I have 8 kits, and I have made some very accurate handloads. I can use a mallet, an arbor press, even tried my drill press, or a 2x4 if needed, I have had zero kabooms and only one squib (my fault) since I started reloading in '69. With a modicum of care they last a lifetime. Easy to use, exceptional value, satisfaction and fun.

I ran enough 38spcl off one of those to kill an #8 jug of RedDot...

... took me awhile

The first reloading equipment I ever owned was from an estate sale. I got an old RCBS Partner press, 505 scale, Wilson case trimmer, RCBS powder measure, trickler, lube mat, case trays and 6 sets of dies. Considering I paid $50 for the whole mess (15 years ago) I'd say that was my best sub-$100 investment.
Come to think of it, I'm not sure I've actually bought any significant pieces of equipment new.
