Big Boy Revolver?

This thread has really taken a turn comparing a gun to Nancy. In that vein I will say that in 80 years the Henry will look a whole bunch better than Nancy does now.
Politics aside, I think I have read this whole thread but I can't remember if anyone has said they have any experience with one at the range.
Now that’s FUNNY!

Nobody here has shot a Henry

I understand that completely. I've tried to take on that role regarding Bond Arms.
I enjoy my Roughneck .357 Mag. I paid under $240 for it brand new, out the door from Academy Sports since it was the floor model and they were doing the veteran's discount too at the time. Good solid little gun. I have a small pile of Colts, four Pythons, some Trooper MKIIIs and Lawmans, plus a smattering of Detective Specials, Cobras, and other pre-WWII and post-WWII models.

Colt makes a good gun, Bond Arms makes a good gun. Heck, even Henry makes a good gun. But the Big Boy Revolver sure ain't one of 'em. Just like Colt screwed the pooch a few times, like the Colt 2000 and the Series 90 Double Eagle. It is Henry's turn to release a flop.

But the Henry was still born ugly.

Thats not realistic. You are putting them in the same tier as Rossi and Taurus, which is just silly. The Big Boy has very little comparison to either other than the fact that all three are double action revolvers. The people looking for what Taurus or Rossi have to offer likely weren't in the market for what the Big Boy is anyways.
You are showing dirt cheap "combat" revolvers from known budget imported brands with dubious reputations and customer service.
Henry is none of those things.
Honestly, they are kind of creating their own niche with these offerings. Definitely not going for anything "combat", "modern", or "High speed".
More "heritage", "Nostalgia", and "reminiscent".
Yeah I always wanted an $800 revolver that looked like a $150 revolver

Again, I own Henry products and like what they make.

They screwed up on this revolver.
You nailed it squarely! I really wish you and others could say otherwise. This revolver reminds me about the way army barracks in some countries are built; they are not necessarily cheap, but they have to look cheap.
