Photos when you get it! Looking forward to seeing it with stag grips on it!

Forgot to ask: blued or stainless, traditional or Bisley grip frame, and regular or flattop configuration?

Blued with traditional grip frame and regular top. :)

I've already messaged Patrick Grashorn about the grips. Should be sweet! El Paso Saddlery is making me a Tom Threeperson's holster and gun belt for it as we speak. Have wanted a single action for years, the closest I ever got was my cap n' balls, since sold. Needless to say a Blackhawk should be MUCH less mess and fuss!!

The Uberti is a fine SAA reproduction, but the superior single action revolver is the Blackhawk. Better sights, stronger design, safer to carry 6 rounds in.

Thanks, gang! If Uberti offered their SAA with a .45 ACP conversion cylinder that would've made the choice much tougher!

Good choice! I own many handguns, and my Ruger SA's are my favorites. They shoot great and last forever.

Well don't the Ubertis have modern safeties and modifications to the original SAA? Something about a Swiss safety etc. etc.?

I believe there are 4 types of safeties Uberti uses.
1. Two position cylinder pin.
2. Hammer block.
3. Retractable firing pin.
4. Transfer bar.
I have only one Uberti SAA replica, a new 2017 production Flattop Target .44-40 from Dixie Gun Works. It has both the two position cylinder pin and the hammer block safety.
