hornadylnl, which page, there are 11 now. A post number would also help.

This is the post I was referring to, from July 11:
Hi Guys,

I didn't quite make this Friday date. Tracking #'s will go out on Monday.

Chris R

So lemme see if I understand this - you guys are getting bohica'ed by a company calling itself bohica? Can't say that you weren't warned. J/K. :p

The company is owned by a guy that absolutely refuses to let anything other than top quality leave his shop. I would wager that GM wouldn't be in such a fix if they acted the same way. Quality takes time and that fact can't be changed.

Still no word on anything. Went from a 100 shipping on the first, to supposedly only 10 shipping. Then it was 30-40 right after the 4th weekend to the 11th to the 13th and not a word since.

No word if the 40+ that was supposed to ship last week did. I know he is having problems with the supplier of the plastic hand guards. Monday hopefully will have another update by Chris.

Was supposedly going to make handguards out of billet to get these 40 shipped. I'd think that he could get 40 sets milled in a week but there has been absolutely no word. He's posted in an unrelated topic since then so he has been on his forum. Just no update.

Why would anybody trying to run a legitimate business call it that?

The owner obviously has a sense of humor that is misunderstood by many, and unappreciated by quite a few. He at least changed his sig. line on his posts. Originally he joked about his shipping times, he got called on how inappropriate that was, and it got changed.

Again, I say lets hope for this week. There seems to be a black cloud that follows this guy and his production process.

It sounds like at least 1 guy has a tracking number now. That by itself doesn't mean squat. I wonder how long it will take to register in UPS's system.

Yeah, a tracking number, but with the promise to ship it on Monday. I asked the question there on how you get a number before you ship, and it seems that you can print a label off the web page with a tracking number. I also recall something about 5 others shipping on Monday, since I ordered at the same time as the poster, I hope mine is one of those shipped.

His product seems really nice, and everyone who has one is pleased with it, so far as I can tell.

But introducing it at that price seems to have gotten too many people interested too fast!

Well, I finally got fed up with waiting and the excuses, so I let Chris know it. He said he'd send me my MKI back and not a MKIII like he had offered to swap. The MKI I had wouldn't work on my lower and many other people had the same issue. The bolt would bind and not go back. It was an issue with several MKI's, that is why he redesigned the bolt tube.

He's blaming the entire thing on my "out of spec" lower and now won't help me. I told him I didn't want a $1000 paper weight and to refund my money. He then said he'd send me a full refund of $895. I then had to call him out that I paid $1020 and had the credit card statement to prove it. He said that he'd refund that amount and that I'd be banned from the forum.

Well, I'm now banned and he's deleted anything and everything regarding this situation. I've sent several emails asking when I'm going to get my money and he won't respond. I told him that I'm giving him til the 18th of August to send my money to me or I will be reporting him for internet fraud. The 18th is 10 USPS shipping days from the day that he said he'd refund my money. That is more than enough time to get me a refund.

I first oredered my MKI in April of last year. I got put off for at least 2 months on delivery with all the same excuses he is using now. I was sold a "snap on" upper that I spent at least 4 hours fitting my lower and still the bolt wouldn't go back. I tried it on my RRA and Superior Arms lower and it wouldn't work on either one. It isn't just my lower. It was such an issue that there is a subforum dedicated to lower issues on Chris's forum.

In January, I asked him to swap my bolt for a MKII bolt because he changed the design to eliminate the bolt bind problem. He said they weren't interchangeable but if i'd give him a month or two, he'd exchange mine for a MKII. Well, we all know what happened with the MKII. It turned into the MKIII. I've had nothing but delays and excuses on this for 6 months and finally had enough.

Until I've received my money, I believe I've been scammed. I will post as soon as I get it.

He's been sitting on some peoples uppers for several weeks for repair when he's promised them it would be a week or two. A poster on Calguns had an issue with his brake being machined wrong and the bullets are hitting it as they exit the barrel. Some people with the 510 DTC uppers have the chambers reamed out of center causing the cases to bulge and hard extraction.

Received a business check from Chris today and deposited it in my bank. I should know by the end of the week if the check clears or not. I'll post as soon as I know.
