Boy, those complaining about Cabela's were right.

Bought a Savage Takedown 64 there last weekend; good price, $199, about $30 off their regular price. On the plus side the gun counters were empty and I got waited on right away...they used to be very busy and have long wait times. On the downside, they don't sell spare magazines or scope mounts for this most simple of plinking guns.

I do a lot of standing in Cabelas and comparing prices online with MidwayUSA. Taking shipping into consideration, sometimes Cabelas can beat the MidwayUSA prices, especially on Hornady bullets and other reloading items.
